We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 4th last week. Our friends Brian & Jennifer just got married a few weeks ago, and they invited us over to their house for hamburgers. When we lived in our apartment in Dallas, Brian lived right across the street from us. It's so nice to have him close again, and even better that he has Jennifer and Cale! Even though Cale is 4, he and Ethan had a great time playing together. Brian even got a shot of us being a true Starr Family Band (I was taking a break from my usual tambourine playing to help Rachel on maracas). Then they came to our house for dinner and some good Wii playing. And Thursday we had a great cookout at my parents' house. (And on a side note, Friday night
Cara and I finally participated in a crop at
Recollections from 6 pm - midnight. I would highly recommend the outing if you're a scrapbooker because it was dedicated time to scrapbook with about 30 other women there doing the same thing.)

Ha ha! Tambourine playing...you crack me up. Ok, seriously. You. Me. Recollections. Just name the date and I'm there! I've got to finish Allison's book before her birthday so I have just about 4 weeks!
