This is random, but I just love our neighborhood. All of the homes are 30-35 years old, there are TONS of trees, lots of green grass, and wonderful neighbors. We are friends with several of our neighbors, but the ones across the street are just wonderful. AJ is a minor league baseball umpire, so he travels 6 months out of the year, and Natalie is a middle school teacher. I don't know how often this happens, but Natalie lives in the house she grew up in. She and AJ bought it a few years ago from her parents, so she's lived in this neighborhood most of her life. Last week after dinner I took Ethan on his tricycle to get a sno cone (the BEST sno cones I've ever had...and that's coming from someone who used to work at a sno cone stand!). While we were sitting in the driveway eating, AJ and Natalie drove up and Ethan ran across the road to see them. AJ has a fishing boat, and Ethan just couldn't get enough of it. So, in about 2 seconds flat, he was up in the boat with a fishing pole casting down the driveway. I'm just thankful for sweet and normal neighbors.
