Ray-Bug is 5 months old! I remember myself sitting in this big chair in our room at about 2 a.m. back in February wondering what Rachel would be like in the summer. And now it's the summer! So, here are some things about our sweet girl:- She love, love, LOVES her brother
- She sleeps about 12 hours a night without a peep, and wakes up very happy
- She weighs 16 pounds now!
- She had cereal for the first time today and did not think too highly of the experience
- She really enjoys being in her jumper in the kitchen while I make lunch and dinner
- She loves going to the grocery store and looking around at all of the colors
- She has started reaching her arms out when I get her out of her crib
- She belly laughs - but only for Ethan
- She smiles so big that she has to bury her head in your shoulder
- She can sit up on her own for a few seconds at a time
- She no longer tolerates anything that requires lying back - bouncy seat, bathtub, etc.
- She likes it when I sing "You Are My Ray-Bug" softly in her ear
- She has lots of new fat rolls on her legs and knees that are really sweet and kissable
- She really loves being outside watching Ethan ride his bike or kick the ball around
Obviously she is such a blessing to our family. I'm not sure if I'm more excited that she's getting bigger and can interact more, or if I'm more sad that she's not a tiny baby any more. Either way, she's such a good baby and it's already hard to think about what our life was like before she was here 5 months ago.
Over TWO pounds in ONE month!!! That's awesome! I'm so thankful she's starting to gain weight and get those precious little baby rolls! I was just wondering about how she was doing, so thanks for the update. Love you.

She is so gorgeous! I love looking at your website! Especially since your kids are slightly older than ours - I read what yours are going through and know that in a couple of months Matthew & Joshua will probably be doing the same! Clay asked if I had seen your website...ha ha - I have only been looking at it twice a week since you were pregnant with Rachel! :) You guys inspired me to do our blog! It is such a great way to keep in touch!
