What made my day merry and bright
Today was a rather long day - this is day 4 of Clay being gone on a business trip and I had to send a kid home from preschool today because he spit on a little girl in class. But, there were 2 things that made my day merry and bright. My wonderful parents kept the kids all afternoon and had them spend the night so I could run a million errands and clean house for the progressive dinner I'm hosting tomorrow night. And the second is that when I was in the Hobby Lobby restroom the lady beside me said, "Excuse me miss, can you spare a square?" Awesome.

That is awesome and what is best is that you linked it to the original script... looks like you have way to much time on your hands... hopefully you got the house clean.
ReplyDeleteTotally laughing out loud! You certainly made my day merry and bright!
ReplyDeleteI have to know -- what was your response in the bathroom? Did you just start laughing? Or did you tell her that you didn't have a square to spare (before, hopefully, actually giving her some paper)? I don't know how I would react.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!!! But good thing you were in the other stall, or the poor lady would have been in trouble then, huh? And so sorry Clay is out of town....that is always so tough!
ReplyDeleteIt's the little things...
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Were you laughing in the stall? I'm glad you were able to get some alone time! Today is Friday...you made it!
ReplyDeleteWe all know Lisa laughed out loud and shared more than a square....
ReplyDeleteWe are home today (except gymnastics at 11:30) if the kids need a place to play.
Love you guys.
I can hear you laughing out loud right now.(in my head of course because I'm in Virginia and you're in Texas...)
ReplyDeleteThinking about your laugh has made my night merry and bright. I just wish I could come over after gymnastics and hang out with the Starrs and Davis'.
