We are so proud of him and were so thankful to be able to spend some time with him. We met in East Texas one afternoon...
...shared a great meal (thanks, Susan!), Clay delivered computers to his brothers...
...the kids (and men) played...
...and poor Randi was worn out after her first Thanksgiving as Mrs. Starr!
And this past weekend we went back to East Texas to celebrate the holiday with my mom's side of the family...and everyone was there! All of my cousins were able to come (from Colorado, Illinois and Idaho so no small feat) and it was truly a blessing to all be together. Rachel and Mak were excited to finally get to play together...
...the adults stayed up late playing games, I stayed up one night until a ridiculous hour of the morning finishing the last book of the Twilight series, the kids played ladderball and play-do...
...Rachel charmed the socks off the residents of the nursing home when we visited my Great Aunt Ann...
...Ethan enjoyed not being the youngest boy this year...
...and he REALLY enjoyed playing tons of games on Kelsi's iphone (are there any other 4 year olds out there with an iphone on their Christmas wish list?)...
...and the best part was seeing Meme with all of her great grands...
We are so blessed and so thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving guys! I'm glad ya'll had a good one:)
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSo cute... looks like you guys had a great time.
ReplyDeleteSo, yet again we were 10 minutes away from each other and didn't get together. I know with so much family in it probably wouldn't have worked out, but...still stinks to think about! Glad you had a great time! Hope to see you around Christmas!
