I never thought I would have to...

There are lots of things I've done in the past 3 years that I never thought I would do.  A few minutes ago I just added to that list.  I had to move Rachel's crib to the middle of the room to get her to stop banging her head against the wall to keep herself awake.  And of course the banging woke Ethan up so I had to explain to him that the sound was not a) an airplane (his first guess - very feasible) b) a motorcycle (his second guess - again logical) but rather c) his baby sister repeatedly banging her head against the wall...and laughing.

    Ok, Allie bangs her head against the wall, too! She sits down next to the wall, leans back, and bangs away..laughing. So strange!

    That is hilarious! I can't say Amiya ever did that, but who knows what Emmy might do. She does think Rachel is quite funny.
