Last weekend we took the kids to a
Fort Worth Cats game as a birthday gift to one of Ethan's friends, Brant. Despite the presence of lightning and some light rain, we had a great time. If you live in the area and haven't been to a Cats game, GO! The ballpark is so nice, the atmosphere is very family friendly and relaxed, and tickets start at $4. Here's a small glimpse into what we did:
Ate...a lot

Climbed on the rails

Got in trouble for sitting up here

Played catch

Suckered other kids into playing catch

Clay entertained Rachel

And of course I dutifully watched
the players the game

We loaded up the kids around 10 p.m. and they were so wired that they giggled all the way home. Fun Friday night.
With that kind of eye candy around, how did you even notice your kids sitting on that wall? My children could've caught fire and I wouldn't have noticed. I'm kidding. I think.
ReplyDeleteFTW Cats... who are they and where did they come from... wow... how things change.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We'll have to have you guys out here for a Rough Riders game this summer.
ReplyDeleteLisa - It has been forever (highschool probably) but I look at your blog every now and then thru Amy's page. I like this post. The Ft. Worth Cats have been my second family for the last couple of years....my boyfriend (Lee Gwaltney) is a pitcher for them. But at the moment he is playing ball in Mexico. He will be back at the end of the month to finish out the season with the Cats. The games are alot of fun! Your kids are precious! Great Blog!
