Today she asked for a snack (actually she now calls it a "snackie" because she thinks it's funny). I went through about 10 different choices for a snack and she emphatically said "no" followed by, "Ummmm...medicine snackie!" At least we don't have medicine fears around here.
At church tonight she was busy putting stickers in a book. I usually lift the edge so she can pull them off. She took the sheet from me and little miss verbal said, "I do it all by myself!"...loudly.
And just for the record, her hair gets crazier and crazier every day. This is what she sported Christmas Eve...
Several people have asked me recently if we're going to try for another child. My response - we got #2 and #3 all wrapped into one with Rachel!
Happy almost 2... she sure is cute and I love her hair... I love the snackie comments and the morning wake up story. I love her smile and I bet she is just a joy to be around.
ReplyDeleteAllie is standing next to me shouting "Rachel! Rachel!" as I scroll down to each picture. Clearly we ALL love that little girl over here! :)
ReplyDeleteShe is such a doll!
ReplyDeleteBTW - you need to do a tutorial (or tell me where you got the idea) for those scripture book things, I love those!
This is my favorite post so far.
ReplyDeleteI do love that girl.
Hilarious! Love that kid! We miss you guys! When are you coming to Longview?
ReplyDeleteLove all her faces, especially the serious one :)
ReplyDeleteShe is JUST TOO CUTE! I love her so much! How can it be that a kid lights up your computer and cracks you up even though you haven't met her???...must be a pretty special kiddo!
ReplyDeleteThink how wild it would be if our old small group were still in existence. Rachel and Arden could provide plenty of entertainment. Also, when you get a chance, tell me how you did those ABC scripture cards.
ReplyDeleteTotally dig that last shot -- little pink gangsta cutie.
