A goodbye to the cast.
The screams that accompanied the saw.
The horrible smell.
The little white leg.
The disgustingly dirty foot.
The little matted hairs.
The tears.
The apprehension of getting another x-ray.
The excitement of wearing two shoes again.
Then, finally, an all clear from the doctor.
A Sonic drink.
A bubble bath with sister.
A dose of Tylenol.
A sno cone.
A trip to Nana & Poppa's to play in the sand box.
A dose of Benadryl.
A good night's sleep.
Two bent knees under the breakfast table this morning.
No more peg leg.
another good title....3-2-1 CAST OFF! I love making up titles. Loved the way you told that story...that is cute. Maybe one of mine will break a leg soon and I'll be able to use that kind of cute story....just kidding. lol
ReplyDelete"The screams that accompanied the saw" - were they yours or Ethans??? or both??
ReplyDeleteWhat an ordeal! Glad he is back on two feet again!
So glad he's all better and back to normal.
ReplyDeleteHope the saw wasn't too traumatic for E. Claire won't even let me dry her hair on the "loud" setting (as she calls it), so I can only imagine what she would do if a saw was headed her way.
Meredith
p.s. we're considering buying a pop-up camper--totally inspired by the Starrs!
We're so proud of you, Ethan!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play today.
