Mimi came to visit

EthanMimi.jpgWe had a nice mid-week visit tonight from Clay's mom.  Ethan talked about Mimi all day and wanted to know exactly when she would get here.  Despite the horrible traffic, she did make it and brought Ethan a really cool work bench/took set.  It's neat because you put the thing together with the tools it comes with.  Of course Ethan loved it.  And in case you didn't know, tools can also double as doctor's instruments.  Thanks, Mimi, for coming to see us and brighten our day.

    Tools can 'double as doctor's instruments' AND pedicure instruments as well! One of Matthew's little friends likes to use his pliers to 'paint' her mother's toenails with! Cracks us up everytime!

    I know I only got to meet you once Lisa (I think it was at Pappy's funeral) but I just wanted to let you know I am always on your website and have really enjoyed 'meeting' Ethan and Rachel through the internet. Your kids are adorable! Next time we are in Texas we will have to try and visit to let the kids meet(what are they 3rd cousins?!?)

    Kids have the coolest toys now a days...and whats cool about being their parent is you get to play with them too! You are in our prayers!
