kid took it home brand new. I really don't think they make things like that anymore. Sigh. But this has motivated me to keep up my search for some old toys because apparently they're just as fun as the new ones!

They just don't make 'em like they used to
For a few months now I've been scouring antique shops/flea markets for old toys in fairly
decent shape to put up in Ethan's room. I wasn't necessarily buying them for him to play with - more for decoration. Well, tonight Clay got down the little pull toy xylophone that we had as kids, and the original wooden Tinkertoys (what else would you use for drumsticks?!?) and Ethan was going nuts! He was so happy banging around on that old xylophone. I have no idea exactly how old it is, but I think it probably sounds just like it did the day some lucky

I was wondering if you were still looking for toys. I will keep my eyes open...there is an antique mall about 5 minutes from my house:) Libby loves to dance, so we'll have to get Ethan to play her a tune in September!

That is SO funny b/c yesterday at our teacher staff day in the childcare Olivia was going to town on one of those! I told them, I didn't know they still made those and now want to get one myself! Also, LOVE Ethan's room as well as the rest of your home. Glad he is doing well in his big boy bed! Wish yall could have been with us at the concert. I am surprised you weren't!!!Have a great weekend!
