I just don't know how much longer I can stand this heat. I know, I know, it's much hotter in Phoenix and El Paso and places like that, but I live here and it's hot here. I had all these great ideas of Ethan and I taking long walks on the days I'm home, and how we could walk to the sno cone stand down the road, etc., etc. Well, it's just too hot. And I feel so bad for Ethan because the kid LOVES to be outside. Last night we were at my parent's house for dinner and we put his little pool in the shade and you could just see the relief on his face. I guess we'll have to start planning more 8 p.m. outdoor events.
Hope you're all enjoying the hot summer!
I totally agree about the heat. There will be times that we don't go outside all day and I just feel so bad for Em. My double jogger is just waiting for October to get here!
ReplyDeleteLisa, it's not because you're old, it's because you're pregnant! Don't worry, it'll cool down sometime in November. Love, Erin
ReplyDeleteI didn't hijack the blog! Stop saying that. Do we need to talk about sharing, young lady?
ReplyDeleteLove the "goggies," Mickey! Let's play soon. Your buddy, Jack-Jack

Well....I'm sure it is as hot as can be over there in Texas...but at the moment I can't really relate, although it is SUPER humid here because of all these tropical depressions...or something like that. But, what I want to talk about is your hijacked blog...glad to see a Lisa post every now and then...although Clay makes me laugh too. Anyway, just wanted to say glad you're back. -kat
