probably should have waited a few more years
Last weekend I thought it would be a great idea to take Rachel for her first manicure and pedicure while I used a gift certificate on a pedicure for myself. While we did have fun and she did feel very special, I don't think it's natural for a 3 year old to wake up in the morning asking if we can send Ethan somewhere so I can take her to go get her nails painted at the REAL place (of course no mention of me getting my nails painted).

ReplyDeleteokay, so, i've been painting dylan's nails since she was one. and she sits so still and loves every minute of it. well, the other day, while luke was in vbs, i thought we'd go and get pedi's together. yikes! didn't go as planned at all. she wouldn't sit in the chair by herself. and then i had her in my lap, and she wouldn't let the poor manicurist come near her. she screamed and cried. anyways...needless to say it wasn't such a relaxing experience...maybe we'll try again when she's three. :)
I'm kind of jealous of her right now as she has had one more mani/pedi than I've had this year :)
